Stand-Up Paddling South Africa (SUPSA) is proud to announce the names of the members of the national SUP team which will represent South Africa at the 2nd ISA World StandUp Paddle and Paddleboard Championships to be held Miraflores, Peru from 24 February to 2 March 2013.
SUPSA is affiliated to Surfing South Africa (SSA), the recognised national sports body governing surf riding in South Africa and the official member of the International Surfing Association (ISA). Surfing South Africa is a member of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC).
The 2013 South African SUP team has been ratified by the Surfing South Africa Board of Directors.
"Surfing South Africa congratulates each member of the national SUP team on their selection to represent their country. This is a prestigious International Surfing Association sanctioned event and we look forward to their holding the South African flag high in Peru," said Robin de Kock, General Manager of Surfing South Africa.
The national team to represent South Africa at the ISA SUP World Championships includes the following team management and elite SUP surfers, SUP racing paddlers and elite prone paddleboarders from KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape .

Bruce Johnston (Tableview, Western Cape) is the Team Manager and Francois Frick (Gordons Bay, Western Cape) is the Coach.
